Science
Doesn’t life sometimes feel weird as fuck?
Like, what is this? What are we doing here?
What are all these objects around me?
Who are all these people?
Is any of this even real?
What’s the lesson here?
What’s the point of such an elaborate setup?
This all has to reach a meaningful end right? Right?!
I think our best bet towards ever understanding anything is science. But science is difficult, and slow. Most people have their plates full even dealing with everyday life, forget about wanting to do science.
I was just staring at my shampoo bottle and I felt like, whoa… Like what even is this? Why did everything lead up to this shampoo bottle? And can I even trust anything?
I do hope we make some massive leaps in science in my lifetime, especially in physics, and hopefully in biology as well. I am all hyped up on science. It’ll be so cool if physicists disprove something like the big bang theory. I honestly don’t feel like we’d get much out of space exploration, but hey, explore and exploit, right?
But, as non-scientist individuals, I think our best bet in life is to first focus on ourselves. Fixing our problems, and then helping others. Even if you are never going to do anything great (which is highly likely) if you work on yourself, and then help and contribute towards society, I think that’s good enough. Not everybody needs to be Einstein.
